Performing Arts

Mr. Danny Stone is the Vocal Music instructor at the L&N STEM Academy.

No auditions are required for Vocal Music I.  Vocal Music I is the only choral class offered at L&N STEM.  It does fulfill the FIne Arts graduation requirement.

Mr. Danny Stone is the Band instructor.  Concert band is the only band class offered at L&N STEM.  Students will be placed in the band section that is appropriate for their instrument of choice, so 9th-grade students must indicate their instrument on their registration form.

L&N STEM does not offer Marching Band.

Orchestra is a music class where students learn to play string instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and bass. Members develop technical skills, perform as part of an ensemble, and explore a wide range of musical styles. The class fosters teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
